I met George Kneif almost 50 years ago when he left Hungary after the uprising. He
gradually established himself as a busy contract programmer here and in Germany.

Peter is a cousin with a wide range of unusual interests. He owns a veteran Rolls Royce
much of which he restored himself - he is a very competent workshop engineer having been
through a long apprenticeship with Lucas in Birmingham. He has also used his skills to
build small organs (musical) which are a beauty to behold. As part of his interest in the
dress and customs of yesteryear he displays, and rides, his home-made replica of a 50-inch
wheel Singer 'Ordinary' or 'High Bicycle' (better known as a Pennyfarthing) at shows in the UK.
